Jeremy KesselmanLauded as playing with "great warmth and personality" by The Philadelphia Inquirer, Jeremy Kesselman is the new principal oboist of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Chile.

He was previously principal oboe with Symphony in C (formerly Haddonfield Symphony) and the second oboist of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. Mr. Kesselman has regularly performed with the Academy of Vocal Arts Opera Orchestra, the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, the Pennsylvania Ballet, the Philly Pops and the Opera Company of Philadelphia. He has also been a participant in Colorado Music Festival and Pacific Music Festival.

Mr. Kesselman studied at the Curtis Institue of Music with Richard Woodhams. He received his Bachelors of Music degree from Temple University where he was a student of Jonathan Blumenfeld.

Born in New York but raised in Southern California, Mr. Kesselman started his musical training at a young age on piano, switching later to the oboe, which has become his passion. When not making reeds, he enjoys traveling, hiking, cycling and being outdoors.
